OUR ENGAGEMENT

How dnergy Measures and Maintains Thermal Comfort

dnergy calculates comfort based on three key variables: temperature, relative humidity, and CO2 concentration within the building. If these variables are measured locally or at air handling units, a corresponding comfort indicator or an overall comfort calculation can be made for the building zone.

TECHNOLOGY

Continuously Adjusting

Our AUTOPILOT technology plays a crucial role in maintaining optimal thermal comfort. By creating a thermal model of the building and computing optimal control time series, AI directly contributes to achieving high thermal comfort alongside energy reduction.

AUTOPILOT anticipates changing circumstances, such as weather predictions, by continuously adjusting control settings every 15 minutes, ensuring optimal energy usage without compromising comfort.

ENERGY MANAGERS

Human Oversight and Diagnostics

Our yearly site visits by energy managers are essential to understand the physical reality of the building and reconcile it with digital data for optimal measuring and steering. This includes assessing HVAC systems, usage and tenant behavior, and structural aspects that influence both energy efficiency and comfort. Our PROFILER dashboard also allows direct visualization of relationships between thermal comfort, energy consumption, and system operations to find trends and anomalies.
